You won’t have heard of this part of the Algarve. Whilst most of the Algarve has been developed over the years, Salema remains completely unspoilt.
Admittedly a very small town, Salema boasts completely untouched beaches as well as being very close to the more popular parts of the Algarve.
10 Rothenburg – Germany
We’re going to finish off with a part of Germany that you may not have heard of.
Close to both Frankfurt & Munich, Rothenburg is an amazing part of Germany bursting with culture containing medieval architecture, music festivals and diverse museums available all year round.
A must for some visitors, Rothenburg plays host to the Deutsches Weihnachtsmuseum, a massive all year round Christmas museum that focuses on everything to do with the festive season over the last couple of hundred years, offering entry to a family of 4 for just over £6.
